ERICEIRA´S ORIGINAL HOSTEL
Located near the heart of Ericeira easy walking access into the village center or to a beautiful stroll to some of Portugal’s famous surf spots and beaches. Our House caters for surfers from the most advanced to complete beginners you will sure have fun for surfing in no time. This House have a 24 h private condominium guard with a garden to relax, greats sunsets and ocean views and is a short walking distance to the village center, shopping facilities, surf spots and nice beaches. Blue Buddha Hostel was the Ericeira´s Original Hostel (first Hostel in Ericeira since 2008) and is now a charm house with bright and comfortable rooms. With a total of 8 rooms - between Twins (with private bathroom or shared bathroom, with sea view or with garden view or with no view) and a real big Quadruple Room - to accommodate you all year long.All guest has access to the kitchen open 22 hours day, all its facilities and free wi-fi. From here you can access to the condominium tennis court and swimming pool during summer time (both with a small fee) very easily.
With our certified partners we can organize activities for you which include Surf Lessons, SUP Lessons, Yoga, Transfers from/to the Lisbon airport. We're here and ready to help make your stay easy!! Surf equipment is also available for hire in all Surf shops near the Hostel.

Look for Flexibility use the Standard rates
Do you have doubts when you want to stay with us? If so do not worry and make sure you get a room if your doubts came real using our standard rates. VAT is already included in the rate. Choosing our flexible room rate when you book you just pay the amount of the initial night. The remain booking amount will be paid at the check in. Up to 48 hours before arrival you can cancel your booking just without extra cost. The amount of the initial night is non-refundable. With cancellations less than 48 hours prior to arrival or no show the all remain booking amount will be charged. Modifications can be done based upon availability and to the same year of the check in. Modifications have a 25 Euros charge. To do it please contact us – bluebuddhahostel@gmail.com.
Pay When You Book saving your money using the Non-refundable rate
Do you know when you want to stay with us? If so save your money getting the best deals booking with our non-refundable room rate. VAT is already included in the rate. The non-refundable room rate is fully charged when you book the room and cannot be cancelled meaning if you cancel your booking you will lose the full booking amount. Modifications can be done based upon availability and to the same year of the check in. Modifications have a cost that is the amount of the first booking night and 25 Euros charge. Pay When You Book saving your money using the Early Booker rate
The Early Booker rate is a non-refundable rate used when you book in advance meaning with some months earlier that the check in date. Cancellations and modifications follow the rules of the non-refundable rate.
Terms and Conditions
You will be asked to confirm your acceptance of our terms and conditions when you make a reservation.
The Room Price is per room / per night and includes VAT at the applicable rate at the time of your reservation.
City tax will be add to the reservation and be paid cash in the check in.
- Low Season (1 November to 30 April) - 1€ per person / per night / Maximum 7 nights
- High Season (1 May to 31 October) - 2€ per person / per night / Maximum 7 nights
We do not offer any food service (breakfast is also not included) to our guests. Included in the Room Price is the access to the House Kitchen (shared with other house guests) and where you can do all your meals this during 22 hours a day (there are 2 hours where we close to clean). Ericeira has a real excellent food offer this in its Bakeries and Restaurants.
Also in the room Price is included the access to the House living room where we have our House TV. In our concept we do offer calm rooms and comfortable living room where you can also relax and socialize with other guests.
Room Price includes linen and towel that are changed each 7 nights. In case of change before we can provide this service for extra cost (due to availability). Children under 16 years old are not permitted to be with us alone meaning without staying with a parent or someone responsible who is also staying in the House.
To close a Reservation we require a Payment. This can be done with Credit Card / Pay Pal / Bank Transfer. If Bank Transfer please send us the receipt as proof of payment to bluebuddhahostel@gmail.com. Bookings are not confirmed until you receive our Book Confirmation e-mail. All open amounts must be paid in full at check in time.
Damages and Breakages - Please take care when staying in our House. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. We ask you to report any incidents when they occur. We may charge for the breakages in case there are guest bad usage of material.
In case guests are not following the house / room rules we will ask them to leave without a refund.
